The Hero-Group stands for quality, safety, and innovation in the field of bullet-resistant glazing. With our latest product line, Hero-Bulletresistant (Hero-BR), we offer our customers customized security solutions that meet the highest standards. Our product portfolio currently includes resistance classes BR4-NS and BR6-NS, with plans to expand to BR7-NS and an insulated glass variant.

The resistance classes BR5 and BR7 are currently in development, both as monolithic and insulated glass variants.

Our bullet-resistant glass is classified according to the internationally recognized standards of DIN EN 1063. The products we offer are specifically designed to provide maximum security without compromising aesthetics and functionality.

BR4

Handgun – Caliber .44 Remington Magnum Shooting Distance: (+/- 0.5) m Impact Velocity (+/- 10): 440 m/s BR4-NS: Protection against bullets from high-energy handguns. Defence against close-range shots.

BR6

Rifle – Caliber 7.62 x 51 Soft Core Shooting Distance (+/- 0.5): 10 m Impact Velocity (+/- 10): 830 m/s BR6-NS: Special protection against rifle bullets. This class is ideal for security zones with an increased risk.

BR5

Rifle – Caliber 5.56 x 45 Shooting Distance (+/- 0.5): 10 m Impact Velocity (+/- 10): 950 m/s BR5-NS: Protection against rifles at distances up to 10m. Suitable for high-risk scenarios in sensitive facilities.

BR7

Rifle – Caliber 7.62 x 51 Hard Core Shooting Distance (+/- 0.5): 10 m Impact Velocity (+/- 10): 820 m/s BR7-NS: Maximum protection against highly penetrating hard-core bullets. Ideal for high-security areas with extreme safety requirements.

Note: „NS“ stands for „No Splinter,“ meaning the glass in the required resistance class must not release any splinters on the protected side in the event of impact.
This provides additional protection for individuals in the secured area.
