Individual, modern and diverse
Different colours and a wide variety of uses – design glass can be produced and used in many different ways. Whether it’s as a room divider in the home, a partition wall in the office or wall panelling in a restaurant, creativity can truly run free. We use a range of techniques to process and design glass surfaces. In the case of screen printing, the ceramic colour is applied to the glass through a fine-mesh screen, while the different screen-printing meshes allow different colour applications. With digital printing, colour application is digitally controlled and applied to the glass with pinpoint precision. In both processes, the printed colour is etched onto the glass surface during the tempering process, ensuring that it remains scratch and abrasion-proof, weatherproof and light-fast. In the case of sandblasting, the glass surface is matt-finished. This means that the glass is opaque, but remains translucent. Different decoration styles and patterns are also possible here.
