Beschusshemmendes Glas Hero-Group

Our expertisePanic Glass

The Hero-Group is your partner for quality, safety, and innovation in the area of panic glass. As a medium-sized company, we are proud to offer our customers tailored security solutions with our Hero-Panic glass. Our product portfolio currently covers the most common resistance classes on the market from RC2 to RC4.

Why do you need panic glass?

In addition to known burglar-resistant properties, doors in escape and rescue routes must consider additional aspects of burglary resistance. Tests have shown that the use of polycarbonate glazing is particularly effective in such cases.

Please note: RC2 + P4A / RC3 + P5A / RC4 + P6B!

The total thickness and the individual glass thicknesses of the tested laminated structures can be increased. In addition, the laminated structure allows for additional glass panes to be added on the outside as part of a double or triple insulating glazing system with variable spacers between the panes. From the inside, a fire protection glazing can also be integrated.

Overview of Panic Classes:

Our panic glass according to DIN EN 1630 combines safety, aesthetics, and functionality.

Insulating

Insulating Hero Banner

Our expertiseInsulating

Practical use of energy

Insulating glass is used in architectural projects both in the construction of new buildings and in the renovation of existing buildings. It provides enhanced thermal insulation. It also takes on various other functions and is ideally suited for reducing energy. In addition to thermal insulation, insulating glass can take on numerous other functions and is perfect for sound insulation, sun protection, privacy, fire protection and burglary protection.

Insulating glass is a functional glazing unit that consists of at least two panes of glass. These are cut to size, cleaned and then pressed flush with one another at defined intervals. Finally, the outer edges are sealed to hermetically close the insulating glass unit.

FINEO vacuum insulating glass provides thermal insulation as effective as triple glazing, but is lighter and thinner. In addition, it offers better sound insulation and higher light transmission. This makes it a suitable solution not only for new construction projects but also for many renovation and refurbishment projects.

MINIMUM STEPS, MAXIMUM RESULTS

To follow our passion and make your ideas a reality with precision, we need to have all production-related information at our disposal in advance. Only then can we begin producing the glass. First, high-precision mechanical systems ensure that the straight cuts and model cuts of the sheet glass are cut to precision. In doing so, we do everything we can to ensure that only as little energy as actually required is used thanks to modern processes and equipment. Glass offcuts are also collected and subsequently recycled.

In this way, we are also doing our bit for the future. CNC machining centres also enable the automated execution of sheet glass workpieces with maximum precision for complex models and contours. To save you valuable time and to reduce handling to just a few steps, milling, drilling and washing operations on all machining lines are interlinked.

Prestressing

Vorspannen

Our expertisePrestressing

Simply essential

To ensure the desired behaviour of the glass under load, we apply mechanical stress to our glass products during the production process. This stress can be produced thermally or chemically. The desired tension is produced and the strength properties of the glass are increased either via controlled heating and cooling processes or ion exchange on the glass surface in the salt bath. Chemically tempered glass also looks better, as the surface flatness is maintained.

  • Heat-strengthened glass

    Heat-strengthened glass

Heat-strengthened glass, also known as semi-tempered glass, is a type of safety glass with a higher strength and thermal stress resistance than normal float glass. Another benefit of heat-strengthened glass is its increased resistance to thermal stress. This makes it suitable for use in areas where temperature fluctuations may occur, such as in close proximity to sources of heat or in areas with high exposure to sunlight.
  • Single-pane safety glass

    Single-pane safety glass

Single-pane safety glass is a special type of safety glass produced via thermal treatment. It is known for its increased strength and safety properties. Single-pane safety glass can withstand temperature fluctuations better than conventional glass, making it suitable for use in areas such as chimneys, ovens and other environments with high exposure to heat. A significant benefit of single-pane safety glass is that, in the event of breakage, it shatters into small, blunt shards with a reduced risk of injury, as the fragments generally remain together and cannot cause serious cuts.

  • Teilvorgespanntes Glas

    Teilvorgespanntes Glas
