As part of the new construction of the RAS-Pipeline GmbH headquarters, we delivered a sophisticated glazing solution that com-bines technical precision, visual quality and functional depth. In total, approx. 500 m² of triple glazing with integrated solar protec-tion were used. About 300 m² of this were installed as standard solar control glazing with a special film that creates the building’s striking silver façade. These areas also partially meet the specifications for fall-proof glazing, merging aesthetic appearance with safety requirements.
An additional 200 m² were realised as shadow box units. A full-surface ceramic print was applied to the innermost pane, hiding structural concrete elements while preserving the optical depth of the glazing. This creates a clear, elegant façade with strong visual presence and subtle layering.
We also delivered the glass for the canopy and several interior glass balustrades. All insulating glass units were produced with warm edge spacers – a low-conductivity edge seal that improves energy efficiency, reduces thermal bridging and prevents con-densation along the glass edge. The project demonstrates how architectural ambition, safety and sustainability can be success-fully combined in modern glass design.
